Royal London Asset Management Expands in Australia With New Funds

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM), one of the UK’s leading active investment managers, has launched four new funds for Australian investors, reinforcing its commitment to the local market. The funds, structured as Australian unit trusts and managed by Equity Trustees as Responsible Entity, feed into RLAM’s flagship Dublin-based UCITS range and debut with approximately A$1 billion in assets under management.

The new offerings include Royal London Short Duration Global High Yield Fund – RLAM’s first local fixed income strategy, plus three equity funds.

RLAM, which manages A$378 billion globally, combines disciplined research, valuation rigor, and ESG integration across its equity strategies, while its high-yield bond approach aims to deliver defensive, liquidity-focused returns with reduced volatility.

Hans Georgeson, CEO of RLAM, said: “We are building solid foundations in Australia. Our mutual ownership gives us the ability to focus on building partnerships and managing clients’ futures for the long-term, rather than dealing with the short-term demands of corporate shareholders. We are excited to continue to partner with clients in a market that shares many similarities with our own domestic market in the UK. We are confident that our proven and principled approach to active management, for individual and institutional investors, including pension schemes, will be attractive and valuable to Australian investors.”
